General Arts is the generalised study of the liberal arts and sciences according to academicinfo.net

It comprises of Arts, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Science, Literature, Language, Government, Economics, Geography and Religious Studies.

The University of Cape Coast is a prominent tertiary institution in Ghana.

It was ranked as the 298th university out of 1,300 in the world by QS World University Ranking 2021. It is also the 4th topmost university in Africa.

The University of Cape Coast is not the only academic institution in Ghana that offers the courses above.


You need obtain a maximum aggregate of 36 in your Senior High School examination (WASSSCE or any other) to get admission to UCC and read an Art programme.
