KA Technologies and the Ghana Education Service will commence the much anticipated physical training roll out for 1 Teacher, 1 Laptop Project for all Teachers across the Country. This was contained in a letter signed by the Director General of Ghana Education Service and copied to Regional Directors of Education. The letter indicates that KA Technologies will commence its seminar for teachers to maximize the use of the TM1 Laptop and its resources. As part of the contractual agreement with KA Technologies, the company has an obligation to conduct a CPD workshop for Teachers on the use of the TM1 Laptops and some resources or software installed on them. KA Technologies has been criticized for attempting to change the physical workshop to a virtual one by various Teacher Unions. However, all is set for a smooth take off in the Northern Regions including Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Savanah and North East Regions with the date for the engagements set for Monday 16th May, 2022. Teachers will be credited with CPD points for being part of the workshop as part of their continous professional development. Other Regions will also come on board as time goes on.
