KNUST Admission Portal is a web-based, interactive tool on the KNUST website that provides candidates with admission application services that are both connected and unrelated. Prospective students can get admission information from the online application portal in an easy-to-understand format.

Admission forms, a student portal, school fees, an admission list, the posting of admission results, and other admission-related processes in the University are all available through the application site. The admission Portal contains all admission-related information for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

NOTE: The administration of KNUST has opened the 2022/2023 Admission Portal. Applicants can now visit and log in to apply for admission and also check their admission status.

How do I Apply to KNUST through the Admission Portal?


  1. You have to meet the KNUST Admission requirements before applying.
  2. Purchase of the KNUST admission form is not done through the admission portal. To purchase KNUST, obtain an application voucher from the Post Office or from any of the following Banks/Sources: GCB Bank, Agric. Development Bank (ADB), Ecobank, Zenith Bank, Unibank, Fidelity Bank, Republic Bank, and VISA Credit/Debit Card.

Applicants with WASSCE must obtain a minimum of six credit passes (C6) in six subjects (3 core and 3 elective subjects respectively).


A minimum aggregate score of 24. Applicants must obtain at least a D (4) in six subjects.

GCE ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels

Applicants with ´O´ or ´A´ Levels must have Grade 6 or better in five (5) ´O´ level subjects including English, Maths, and a Science / Arts subject and, they must have passed 3 subjects, one of the passes should be Grade D or better at the ´A´ Levels.

  1. Visit KNUST Website: https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/
  2. Tap on apply online to begin the application
  3. Enter your Serial Number and PIN (Lost your PIN?)
  4. Generate Login PIN for (International Applicant Only)
  5. Click Login
  6. Here is your Admission Form, fill in all details
  7. Preview and Submit
  8. Print a copy of the online application form or save it as a PDF

How do I Check my KNUST Admission Status on the Admission Portal?

To check your KNUST admission list, status, letter,

  1. Visit the KNUST status checker portal. https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/apply/Account/Login.
  2. Click on the “Login” button to access your admission status.
  3. Proceed to Print Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology admission Letter.
