NTC Licensure Exams Registration.

National Teaching Council Teachers Portal Ghana is a dashboard where all qualified in-service teachers in both public and private schools in Ghana can login and register to be issued a registered number and teaching licenses. 

The Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE), is the credentialing examination of the National Teaching Council (NTC), for pre-tertiary teachers in Ghana.

The purpose of the Licensing Examination is to; 

• Allow qualified teachers to obtain a professional license.

•  Attract outstanding young graduates from universities and colleges of education who possess the necessary professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes to deliver effectively in schools.

It is also one of the requirements to getting a teaching license in Ghana.

The candidates are to apply online at exams.ntc.gov.gh and complete the application form for the licensure examination. OR before qualify to write the NTC Examination at a Centre of their choice. Candidates who wrote the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination but were unsuccessful in some papers may register to re-sit.

Eligibility for the NTC Licensure Examination.

• All Prospective candidates who hold Diploma in Basic Education (DBE), Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) or a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), M. Ed and are eager to become professional teachers.

Requirements To Register Online For Public Teachers.

1. An active email address (create one if you do not have).

2. SSNIT number.

3. Staff ID.

4. Scanned passport picture for upload (optional).

5. Scanned evidence of professional training –Teacher Cert A, Diploma, PGDE, B.Ed, M.Ed, MPhil, PhD (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).

6. Scanned first appointment letter (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).

Requirements To Register For Private Teachers.

1. An active email address (create one if you do not have).

2. SSNIT number.

3. Scanned passport picture for upload (optional).

4. Scanned evidence of professional training –Teacher Cert A, Diploma, PGDE, B.Ed, M.Ed, MPhil, PhD (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).

5. Scanned first appointment letter (as PDF, PNG or JPEG).

2022/2023 NTC Licensure Exams Registration.

1. Visit NTC Exams Portal. To start the registration go to www.exams.gov.gh and click on the “Examination Registration” button.

2. Enter your Serial Number and PIN.

3. Choose exams center. 

4. Fill in vour Credentials.

5. Print out your exams details and provisional time table.
