HOW TO REGISTER COURSES AND PRINT RESULTS IN UCC.

Students are obliged to register for courses before teaching and learning begins.

Students are to note that the registration of courses and printing of results are through the University of Cape Coast Student Portal.

UNIVERSITY OF CAPE COAST STUDENT PORTAL.

The UCC Student Portal is created for formal and prospective students of the University to create an account or log in to perform certain academic actions at ease. Such activities include:

WHAT THE UCC STUDENT PORTAL IS USED FOR:

  • Course Registration
  • Fees Payment
  • Result Checking 
  • Online Admission Application
  • View Admission List/Status
  • Acceptance Fees and Payment Details
  • Transcript
  • Academic Calendar 
  • Extra Credit Hours
  • Deferment of Admission, et cetera 

HOW TO ACCESS THE UCC STUDENT PORTAL.

To access the UCC portal, the first thing you need to do is to register an

account. Go to the official website of the University at https://www.ucc.edu.gh to create an account as a fresher.

 If you already have an account, then follow the following steps to log in;

  • Open your web browser.
  • In the search button, type portal.ucc.edu.gh
  • Enter your Registration Number and Password to open.

HOW TO REGISTER COURSES AND PRINT RESULTS.

To register for courses, do the following:

  • Open your web browser.
  • In the search button, type portal.ucc.edu.gh
  • Enter your Registration Number and Password to open.
  • Click on the Register Courses Button to start the process.

NOTE

  1. Before registration, students should have:
  • Paid their fees in full.
  • Obtained information from their respective Departments in respect of the courses on offer for the particular semester

2. Continuing students will proceed to do registration of their courses online. 

Fresh students, on the other hand, will, upon payment of fees, have their registration numbers and passwords sent to them electronically after which they will proceed to create student portal accounts with which they will book for accommodation (applicable to regular students only) and register courses online.

3. Students MUST obtain print outs of the registered courses which should be kept as evidence of registration.

4. There is a penalty for late registration. Students who fail to register within the first two weeks of re-opening but in the third week will be charged a late registration fee. No student will be allowed to register after the third week of re-opening.

Students who fail to register by the close of the registration period will not receive any grades even if they attend lectures and take examinations.

HOW TO CHECK AND PRINT OUT YOUR RESULTS.

To check and print your results, do the following:

  • Open your web browser.
  • In the search button, type portal.ucc.edu.gh.
  • Enter your Registration Number and Password to open.
  • Click on the Statement of Results to start the process.
  • Your results will be shown. 
  • Click on Print Summary of Results to get a hard copy of the results.

You mus login to the students portal to register and check your results with the procedures above.
