Heads of Basic and Senior High Schools to Sign Performance Contract in The Coming Weeks
Heads of Government Basic and Senior High Schools will sign their performance contracts in the coming weeks. This follows a successful signing of performance contract for Regional Directors of Education at a Accra today. The performance contracts set out some deliverables and bench marks for Heads of Schools and Unit Heads to meet in the achievement of the overall goals of the Education Service. Non-performance could lead to consequences if the resources are made available to unit heads or school heads. Following this successful signing of contracts by Regional Directors, District Directors will be the next in line to sign their contracts. After the District Directors, Heads of Schools (both Basic and SHS) will also sign their Performance Contracts to commit to delivery at optimum levels in the discharge of their duties.
