New Start & Draw Dates And Strict Caution to All 32 Schools Ahead of Inter-school Boys Soccer

Inter Schools Boys Soccer Competition which was scheduled to take place on Monday 4th July will now take place on Wednesday 6th July, 2022.

This follows a decision by the Schools and Colleges Sports Federation of the Ashanti Region resulting from the inability of the Disciplinary Committee to finish all the fourteen cases before it last Friday.

Eight cases were adjudicated last Friday remaining 6 more casea expected to be sorted out on Monday.

The Draw or Pairings for the round of 32 will done right after the cases are sorted. This is expected to be done possibly on Tuesday a day before the actual games scheduled for Baba Yara Stadium if all goes well.

The use of the Baba Yara facility has become topical and controversial following some unrealistic demands by the National Sports Authority. The NSA demands are making it difficult for the GES to conclude on the use of the facility. It is expected that by Wednesday, there will be a compromise for the use of the facility.

Meanwhile the federation has sent a strong warning to all 32 competing schools.

In a strongly worded message to all competing schools, the leadership of the federation cautioned all 32 Schools on Strict compliance on Photo Album and COVID-19 Vaccination. Below is the full text.
