State Housing Company Ltd has initiated an Affordable Housing Scheme for workers of Government Agencies and Departments and invites workers of institutions to be a part of the package. This scheme seeks to support salaried workers to own houses from SHC at an affordable price with a long-term payment plan.
The project comes with a payment plan of up to 20 years with an annual interest rate of 9.9%. Owning a house has never been this easy through State Housing Company Ltd.
Registration Process: Complete a registration form (Download or pick a copy from our office) Attach- Two {2}-passport pictures – Photocopy of a national ID (either local or foreign) – Photocopy of Staff ID Registration fee of GH¢500
The application would be appraised and approved in consultation with their respective institutions in view of the payment through salary. The staff would be required to pay an initial deposit of 10% minimum of the selling before the monthly deduction arrangements are effected.
The monthly deductions depends on: – The percentage of initial deposit i.e 10%, 15%, 20% …… etc – The number of years a staff select to pay for the property – The amount a staff agreed to be deducted from the salary monthly
The property would then be allocated to the staff whilst the agreed monthly deduction from their salary continues per the payment plan.
