INSTITUTE OF DISTANCE LEARNING (IDL) – KNUST
Tertiary education demand has outstripped educational institutions’ limited resources on a national and global scale. In response to the Ghana Government’s policy of increasing access to tertiary education, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, has taken on the challenge of establishing the Institute of Distance Learning (IDL) to employ innovative approaches in providing higher education via distance learning.
IDL-KNUST is Ghana’s remote learning education standard, providing a diverse student population with access to excellent instruction and support services in demand-driven, continuing, and tertiary education programs through a combination of online educational materials and face-to-face teaching (blended learning delivery).
