Photos; Minister in Awe of Afia Kobi Girls SHS as Teacher & His Students Builds 2-Meter Drone
The Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum was excited this morning following the invention of a 2 Meter flying drone invented by a Geography Teacher and his students from Afia Kobi Ampem Girls SHS.
The MMinister visited the school to interact with students and school authorities and also inspected the flying drone made by a Tutor in the school.
The Minister was wowed to see the creativity and innovative spirit of the Geography Teacher and his students. The Team demonstrated how the drone functions as the Minister watched in appreciation of the engineering ability of the teacher and his students.
The Minister pledged his support to the school to resource them to develop their invention. He also assured them Afia Kobi will be resourced to become a STEM School as part of his vision to encourage Science, Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Education in the Country.
He encouraged the Teacher and his team to continue to work hard to perfect their invention and also come out with more.
The HHeadmistress of the School was present to welcome the Honourable Minister.
The Minister visited the dining hall to familiarize himself with the students and interact with the students.
