#NSMQ-Ashanti: O. T., KUHIS, KOSS Through to Semi Finals as St Louis, YAGSS, Adventist-Ksi Miss Out

Konongo Odumasi SHS produced an amazing come back to shock Bantama based Adventist SHS in the ongoing Ashanti Region Championship of the National Science and Maths Quiz Competition. It was a photo finish as KOSS took a tie breaker after trailing in all the rounds and redeeming themselves in the last round in a spectacular fashion.

Kumasi High School accounted for St Louis SHS in another interesting contest to pick a semi final ticket for the Regional Championship with St Mary’s Girls and Amaniampong SHS missing out on the semi final slot.

Osei Tutu SHS were simply unstoppable as they picked the semi final ticket available after accounting for Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS in another interesting contest. The two schools went neck to neck right from round one but the Boys from Akropong proved too superior for the beautiful ladies as O. T. eventually widened the gap by 14 point margin to book a place in the semi finals.

Meanwhile the pairings for the smei finals are out and it promises to be fire works as Prempeh, Hubert, O. T and KOSS go head to head in the 1st semi final contest while Kumasi High, KASS and Opoku Ware battle for a slot in the finals of the Regional Level Championship. Prempeh College won the competition last year and proceeded to win the national championship.
