Photos: OT’s Premier League Star Clinton Duodu Scores Opener in Inter-school Boys Soccer Qualifiers
Bechem United’s highly rated atacker Clinton Duodu scored the first goal in the Opening game of Osei Tutu SHS versus Adugyama SHS at OKESS center in the ongoing Inter-school soccer competition.
The highly rated Premier League player was in action as Hearts of Oak played Bechem United in the Ghana FA Cup Final Game last Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The final year student of O. T. proved too strong for the other players as he pounced home a decent goal to give the Akropong based Osei Tutu SHS the first goal enroute to a 2:0 win over Adugyama SHS.
Clinton also provided the assist in their 1:0 win of the day as OT picked 6 points in 2 games to ahead of their final game of the day.
Clinton Duodu is playing his second game in a spate of 2 days after featuring for Bechem United in their FA Cup defeat to Accra Hearts of Oak.
The young winger has been phenomenal for Kassim Mingle’s Bechem United and translated his form to the inter school boys soccer in Ashanti as he featured for his school Osei Tutu SHS.
He joined the school 2 years ago as a first-year student in 2020 when he played for the O. T. side that lost 1:0 to Armed Forces SHTS but Covid restrictions prevented school sports hence his use this year in his final year after a ‘no show’ last year
O. T. has six points from two games so far.
