Renewable Energy Challenge: 10 Schools Qualify to Next Round as Gyaama Pensan Tops All Again-Full Results Here
Gyaama Pensan SHTS proved their mettle as the nation’s leading school in renewable energy today at Anglican SHS when the won the preliminary elimination round for Ashanti Region in the Renewable Energy Challenge Competition held today at Anglican SHS.
Ten schools have secured qualification to the next elimination round to battle for the single ticket to represent Ashanti Region in the national competition.
The main elimination contest is scheduled for the 8th of July at Anglican SHS and nine other schools that qualified alongside Gyaama Pensan will battle it out for the single ticket to the next round of competition.
Yaa Asantewaa Girls SHS came 2nd in the preliminary round while Toase SHS picked the 3rd position. Kwasi Oppong SHS took the 4tb position while Armed Forces SHTS picked the 5th spot.
The first ten schools will compete in the last round of qualification to select one school to represent Ashanti Region in the next round of competition.
The schools gave a 10 minutes presentation on Clean Cooking and Food Preservation. Some schools presented their prototype of their project to the team of judges.
The Regional and National levels competition were all won by Gyaama Pensan SHTS last year as Ashanti participated in the competition for the first time last year.
