No Trainee/Mentee Has Impregnated 24 Girls Here; Western Mentees Don’t Come to Ashanti; Municipal Office Deny Story
The Municipal Director of Asokore Mampong Directorate of Education has denied the story of any Trainee Teacher in the Municipality impregnating students and HeadTeacher of a school. Dr. Amankrah has confirmed that it is palpable falsehood and the figment of imagination of any blogger or writer to put such a story out there. The Directorate only receives Trainee Teachers from St Louis College of Education and Wesley College and not from another Region. It is therefore untrue that someone from from a College in Western Region could cross boarders into a Municipality in another region to do his internship.
The Directorate was surprised to see the story going viral when in actual fact on the basis of the facts presented in the story, anyone who knows how the system works could see that the story cannot be true.
It has been reported widely that a level 400 student from a College in Western Region on internship has impregnated twenty-four girls and a headteacher in the Asokore Mampong Municipality.
According to the story, the case has been reported to the police and the Municipal Education Office who deny any such occurrence in the Municipality.
The Municipal Office calls on bloggers and those in the media space to cross check facts before putting such information out there.
