EVANDY HOSTEL

Evandy Hostel is a new hostel located at the Ayeduase New Site. The rooms are comfortable, tidy, and well arranged. The surroundings are very clean and peaceful. It’s a 7-minute drive from campus and near to the major road.

FOR OLD RESIDENTS

1: PAYMENT

1. Pay at any STANBIC BANK using your student ID NUMBER and full name. ACCOUNT NAME: EVANDY ESTATES LTD.

2: REGISTRATION

1. Visit www.evandyhostel.com/start and select REGISTRATION, then proceed to OLD RESIDENT. Enter your student ID NUMBER and the 5-digit number (token number) sent to your phone via SMS.
2. Then update your details and select register student when completed.
3. Lastly go back to the main menu and proceed to step 4.

3: UPLOADING BANK SLIP OR PRESENTATION OF BANK SLIP

1. Take a picture of your Stanbic bank pay-in-slip or receipt.
2. Then go to bank slip uploads and upload a picture of the slip (recommended for students outside Kumasi). OR present the original copy(s) of the bank pay-in-slip to the hostel administration. Your payment will be processed in due time only if you pay the full amount of the required hostel fees including the GHS 100 services/damage charge. A confirmation message will be sent to you once the payment is processed.

4: OFFICIAL RECEIPT

1. Present your valid KNUST ID card to the hostel admin with your bank pay-in-slip. Applicants will pay an amount of GHS 100.00 at the administration for the registration and services charge.
2. Then the student has to be present to take a picture and sign a TENANCY AGREEMENT. After registration, residents will receives an official receipt from the administration. 

NB: This stage of the registration process is very important and any student who doesn’t have an official receipt from the hostel is not acknowledged as A RESIDENT of the hostel even if you have paid hostel fees into our account.

FOR NEW RESIDENTS

1: RESERVATION AND DEADLINE

1. Visit www.evandyhostel.com/start to apply for a room. When allocated a room, an SMS will be sent to your phone number from “EVANDY” stating your room status and payment procedure.

2: PAYMENT

1. Pay at any STANBIC BANK using your student ID NUMBER and full name. ACCOUNT NAME: EVANDY ESTATES LTD.
2. Applicants must pay their fees within the communicated deadline. Any payment made after the deadline will not be acknowledged.
3. Any payment made at the bank without the allocation of a room will be refunded with a 5% charge on the amount paid.

3: REGISTRATION

1. First and foremost, visit the portal and select registration, then proceed to the new resident. Enter your student ID NUMBER and the 5-digit number (token number) sent to your phone via SMS.
2. Then fill in your details and select register student when completed.
3. Finally go back to the main menu and proceed to step 4.
