University of Ghana students come from across Ghana, Africa and throughout the world, representing diverse perspectives, experiences, backgrounds and cultures.

Through the Students Financial Aid Office (SFAO), the university makes every effort to provide financial aid to qualified Ghanaian undergraduate applicants with limited finances. 

It is the core mandate and objective of the University of Ghana to provide its students with quality education and to help them achieve their individual goals and aims in life.

UG through the Office of International Programs encourages participation of international students through direct enrollment and exchange programs. At present, international students number close to 1,500 students, drawn from over 71 countries. 

The university of Ghana has made provisions for soo many courses and programs of study in diverse areas for its prospective applicants too choose from.
