GES Interdicts West Africa SHS Headmistress; Check Out The Reason

The Headmistress of West Africa SHS, Dr. Mrs. Agatha Shine Ofori has been interdicted by the Ghana Education Service. The Head of Public Relations Unit of the Ghana Education Service, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, in a release stated that this action is as a result of a purpoted collection of unauthorized monies.

Her interdiction is to pave way for investigations into the matter by the Regional Disciplinary Committee. The Regional Director has been directed to take over in the absence of the Headmistress while the issue is being investigated.

 

West Africa Senior High School (WASS) is a second-cycle institution located at Adenta in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The school is a government assisted, mixed day and non-denominational institution providing a three-year senior high school education. The school was founded in 1946 by Rev. J. C. Tettey and Emmanuel Addo.
