Government Absorbs New Senior High Schools; Check the list out
The Minister for Education, Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum on January 30, 2022 announced Government approval to absorb some private Senior High schools by government.
These institutions will no more operate as private institutions.
The Minister has announced that the schools have gone through the rigorous process and met all requirements to be considered as government schools. The next academic intake will therefore see Presbyterian Girls SHS located off Atonsu-Esreso stretch of the Bosomtwe road and
Boanim Community Senior High Technical and Commercial School in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency admit students for for next academic year. Presby Girls has been in existence for the past years but will now take her rightful place in the Ashanti Region enclave of Girls schools rated highly with this absorption.
Boanim Community Senior High Technical and Commercial School in the Afigya Sekyere East Constituency has been the target of the member of Parliament for that area Mavis Nkansah Boadu who has worked tirelessly to see this dream come true in her Constituency.
Other schools from other Regions have similarly been absorbed. List of absorbed schools as published by the Ministry of Education is shown above.
