University of Cape Coast
VALCO HALL OF RESIDENCE

Being one of Ghana’s foremost Universities, University of Cape Coast has numerous applications from prospective students, both home and abroad hence the need for halls of residence.

University of Cape Coast has six halls of residence to enable regular students, especially first year students to feel at home.

Each and every student is connected to one of these halls. Hostel facilities are also available for non resident students, especially continuing students.

Like every university, most of the hostels are owned by private people or companies while some are owned by the university.

There are self-contained rooms, rooms using shared facilities like washrooms, study rooms, kitchen, et cetera.

There are rooms where the number of people occupying it determines how much you will pay.

The occupancies vary. There are four in a room, three in a room, two in a room or one person in a room.

Your budget and gender depends on which halls or hostels you will get.
