Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology resumes lectures on Thursday 24th February following the suspension of the strike action by University Teachers Association of Ghana.

In a release signed by Margaret Dzisi (Mrs), Deputy Registrar, academic affairs, students and lecturers are urged to resume classes to continue with academic work. UTAG has been on strike for over thirty-five days in pursuit of better conditions of service. The National Labour Commision managed to secure an injunction against the strike and even though the teacher union is seeking to challenge that injunction, they have suspended the strike action conditionally pending the outcome of their Substantive case.
