KNUST TOP-UP COURSES FOR NURSES
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology has officially released it’s 2022/2023 Admission to Bsc and Top-Up Programs in Nursing, Midwifery, Emergency Nursing and Community Health Nursing.
Prospective and interested applications are invited from suitably qualified institutions with the necessary requirements for admission into BSc. and Diploma (Top-Up) programs at the Department of Nursing, College of Health Sciences in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. Interested nursing students who wishes to offer top-up courses can finally do so at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- BACHELOR OF SCIENCE PROGRAMMES
- BSc. Emergency Nursing

Holders of Diploma in Nursing with a good pass and have at least TWO (2) years of work experience.

Holders of the Diploma in Midwifery with a good pass and have at least TWO (2) years of work experience.
- BSC. Community Health Nursing
Holders of the Diploma in Community Health Nursing with a good pass and have at least TWO (2) years of work experience.
- DIPLOMA (TOP-UP) PROGRAMMES -SANDWICH

Applicants MUST have the minimum University entry requirement of Six (6) credits including English Language, Mathematics, and Integrated Science with a Minimum of THREE (3) years work experience.
OR
Applicants MUST obtain a pass in the Institute of Distance Learning (IDL), KNUST Access Programme, with a Minimum of THREE (3) years work experience.
In furtherance, applicants must satisfy the following specific requirement in the various Programs as follows.
- DIPLOMA IN GENERAL NURSING
- MUST be a Health Assistant Clinical (HAC) certificate holder
- DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING
- MUST be a Community Health Nurse (CHN) certificate holder
MODE OF APPLICATION
- Applicants must buy the e-Voucher at the Ghana Post Company Ltd.
- The e-Voucher contains Login ID or an Application ID, and PIN that will grant access to the online admission portal.
- Candidates should then proceed to the online admissions website at; apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions and begin the application process.
- After the process has been completed, candidates must print out TWO (2) copies of the completed Application Form, and send them to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs) KNUST, together with all relevant documents (Photocopies of Certificates and transcripts)
Application Fee: GH¢ 230.00
