Music Icon Black Sheriff Honored By Former School Kumasi Academy

Hitmaker and rising star Black Sheriff has visited his Alma Mater Kumasi Academy. The visit by the music icon drew many students and teachers of the school to the school’s assembly hall where Black Sheriff entertained them with some of his hit tracks.

The musician interacted with school authorities, students and staff of the school as his teachers took pictures with him and relived his time in the school.

The Musician was later honored by the school with a plaque/Citation by the school to appreciate his visit and for making the school proud.

Mohammed Ismail Sharrif (born 9, January 2002) populary known as Black Sherif is a Ghanaian musician and performer from Konongo. He gained mainstream acclaim with his street anthem “Second Sermon” released in July 2021. His catchy hooks and choruses have garnered him over 100 million streams on Audiomack, while his music tops charts and is played everywhere from influencer videos on social media to NBA All-Star games.

He was a member of the Literary Group while at Kumasi Academy.
