Update From Ghana Education Service To All Teachers

Ghana Education Service following the up coming Independence day celebration in March 2022 has given an update on when and where the celebrations will be made by the various schools.

In a statement released and signed on Wednesday, 16th February 2022, it said;

“Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform you of the climax of the 65th edition of the Independence Anniversary Celebrations which will be hosted at Cape Coast in the Central Region under the theme Working Together, Bouncing Back Better’.

There will be a parade by School Children and the Security Services to climax the celebrations on Sunday 6th March, 2022.

By this letter, Regional Directors of Education are kindly informed that similar parades should be replicated in all the Regional/Metro/Municipal/Districts to mark this all important day. It is therefore incumbent on Regional and District Directors of Education – contact and collaborate with their respective Garrison Commanders, Office of the Regional Coordinating Councils and the District”

GES emphasized that the District, Municipal and Metro assemblies should organise the parade in their respective jurisdictions.
