The Ghana Education Service (GES) administration has publicised the finalized academic calendar for basic school 2022 / 2023 academic year.
According to www.wikipedia.com A basic school (also known as Primary or elementary school) is the first stage of formal education, coming after preschool /kindergarten and before secondary school.
https://www.k12academics.com states that, “The Ghanaian education system is divided in three parts: “Basic Education”, secondary cycle and tertiary Education.
Basic Education lasts for eleven (11) years from Age four (4) to fifteen (15).
It is divided into Kindergarten(2 years), primary school (6 years) and Junior High School (3 years).”
