According to Hon. The beneficiary teachers, according to her, got the opportunity on merit as their credentials were screened and authenticated at the Ministry of Education before their appointment letters were issued.

She tasked the District Director of Education to ensure that the newly recruited teachers are at post and working as expected of them to improve upon the falling standards of education in the District.

This was made known during her maiden consultative meeting with the paramount Chief of Wechiau, Naa Imoro Gomah II and his Divisional Chiefs, Assembly members, District Education Officers and other identifiable stakeholders in education on Saturday, 19th March, 2022 at Wechiau.

This forum was organized to enable her brief the Overlord of the Wechiau Traditional Council and other key educational stakeholders on the outcome of her follow-up visits to the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service and also, her sustained commitment towards absorbing the Wechiau Senior High Technical School and the Dorimon Senior High School into Ghana Education Service mainstream.

This gesture, she added, will be replicated in the Dorimon Traditional council in the coming days.
