GES addresses issues of shortage of chalk and TLMs in Schools

Ghana Education Service has addressed issues of shortage of chalk and Teaching and Learning Materials (TLMs) in Schools.

According to GES, the processes for procuring and supplying chalk to the schools are far advanced. Indeed, some urgent supplies have been made to areas like Western, Western North and Eastern Regions.

The Service explained that, all other Regions which need chalk will be supplied. It is also important to stress that there are in other Regions where we have unused stocks of chalk and some are being moved to areas which need some urgently.

Management of the Ghana Education Service said, they remain committed to engaging the Unions to ensure smooth running of the Service and wishes to assure the leadership that they are always welcome to discuss issues of concern to their members.

In this spirit, Management will invite the leaders, in the coming day
to discuss any outstanding issues of concern to them.
