Members of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) are bracing themselves up for an increment in their lauded Cancer Fund initiative.

GNAT Executives proposed an increment from Gh2.00 to Gh5.00 to enable the fund cater for more member Cancer patients of the Association which was accepted.
Controller and Accountant General Department have been notified to effect the new deduction accordingly.

The Fund is in collaboration with the Sweden Ghana Medical Centre (SGMC), a state-of- the-art oncology centre or the treatment of cancer. Through sensitization and the many testimonies from members who have undergone treatment and the smiles that it has brought to many families, more people are benefiting from the Fund, now than ever before.
