Higher education in Africa has, over the years, been strategically positioned to contribute to national development. At the postgraduate level, there is a growing interest in the ability to link research and innovation to societal transformation. This, therefore, makes university education an important vehicle toward the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Africa Union Agenda 2063, and other developmental agendas.

Since its inception, the School of Graduate Studies, KNUST has trained thousands of students by equipping them with the requisite knowledge and skill set needed in shaping the development path of Ghana, countries across Africa and beyond. At KNUST SGS, you will be part of a family where the progress and development of each member are paramount.
