It has two components: The University of Ghana Guest Center and the Institute of African Studies Yiri Lodge.
The Resort is renowned for its food and the unique spirit of Ghanaian hospitality.
It is also located within easy access of both the city and the airport.
It is a home of cross cultural experience.

It is the value for these tents of culture that has compelled the institute of African studies to establish a home to harness all cultures of the human race in order to create a comfortable home for people across the globe.
This home is called YIRI. It is a name derived from the language of the people from the northern part of Ghana. It means “home”.
This home is one of the places in Ghana where one can have the opportunity to experience the richness of the African culture and other cultures.
Yiri Lodge is located on the southern side of the University of Ghana campus.
